Hi, I'm Puchi!

I’ve been running my one-person creative studio for 2.5 years. I create illustrations inspired by anime, fantasy and games and then turn them into badge buttons, stickers, keychains and other small pieces of joy! Every project is made from scratch by me - from the very first sketch to the final product. I have an engineering background in IT and a master’s degree in game and animation design, which strongly shapes how I think about illustration, storytelling, and visual design. In my free time, I play cozy games, develop my own story universe called Soulphile and continuously learn drawing and animation - because growing and improving is always worth it! After a stroke, I work with a permanent visual field limitation (about 35% of my field of vision), which affects my creative process - but never my desire to create!

✦ How do I create? ✦

I usually start with a sketch and a sense of narrative - even the smallest illustrations have their own context and emotion for me. I love when a piece tells a story instead of being just a pretty image. I work mainly digitally - I draw in Clip Studio Paint, where I make the lineart, colors, and rendering. I use Photoshop for additional adjustments and final polishing, especially when preparing files for print. I treat animation as a natural extension of illustration - I create animations in Live2D, focusing on subtle movement and expression and refine selected elements in After Effects. I pay close attention to the production process - testing colors, materials, and finishes so the final product feels cohesive with the illustration and looks just as good in real life as it does on screen.
